Suzanne and Paul are reading a butterfly book. The children see a caterpillar on the sidewalk and decide to act out all the stages of a caterpillar’s life until it becomes a butterfly. A green blanket becomes the caterpillar’s skin, then its cocoon and chrysalis and, finally, the wings it needs to fly away.
