43. BIEN COMMENCÉ, BIEN FINI
Paul begins a lot of different projects but doesn’t complete any of them. Inspired by a story about caterpillars turning into butterflies, he finishes the projects he’s begun. The end product turns out to be his pride and satisfaction.
44. LA PICOTE
Suzanne comes down with chicken pox. Paul is bored without his favorite companion. To top it off, he’s jealous of all the attention Suzanne is getting. Paul learns about independence and empathy.
45. GROS BÉBÉ!
The kids think Bébé Rémi’s fears are silly. Paul, Oumou and Suzanne take turns pretending to be the baby who’s so easily frightened. The game loses its appeal when Paul actually becomes afraid. He empathizes with Bébé and comes to understand how different things scare us at different ages.
46. ON S'ENNUIE DE MAMAN
Maman and Bébé Rémi go away on a trip. Paul, Suzanne and Papa miss them terribly. To distract themselves, they put on costumes and pretend to travel by train and plane. Papa takes funny pictures of them to send to Maman.
